ORGANIC, vegetarian cuisine
Tuscan cuisine is well known for its rich meaty dishes but historically its roots are vegetarian. Traditional dishes were made using cereals, vegetables and legumes. All the dishes we will make together are those of the traditional vegetarian Tuscan cuisine, such as pici, tagliatelle, cantucci biscuits, but also Renaissance dishes, such as “carabaccia”, taken to France by Caterina De Medici in the XVth century, and then arrived at popularity as the famous Soup à l’Oignon.
We will also prepare some dishes of Italian cooking, such as Pizza, Ricotta Cheese and Spinach Ravioli, potato Gnocchi and many more!
